I made it to London safely and in one piece after sleeping in JFK Friday night. I arrived too late to be able to go out Saturday night.By the time I made it through immigration, got to the hotel and checked in and showered, it was after midnight and it seemed as if the places listed in the free guidebook all closed at 1am. Oh well, there’s still Rome.
On a sour note, Cingular (right now Shitgular) has screwed me because my cell phone doesn’t work although I called to activate international roaming weeks before I left.
I did the tourist thing today and it just so happened to have been a somewhat sunny day. Yay!
5/30 update – Cingular fixed my problem. I can now send and receive the $.20 text messages I so desperately craved. I won’t talk to anyone unless it is important.
