On The Island Of Sardinia

I arrived in Alghero at pitch black last night after enduring the cattle call that is Ryanair. The incoming flight was delayed, therefore my departing flight from London was delayed. After I made it through immigration and baggage claim, I felt as if I were in New York at the cab queue because there was no apparent system. Finally I jumped in the road with my arm waving because I was tired of other people jumping ahead of me. It worked.

I thought today would be bikini-wearing, on-the-beach-lying kind of weather – NOT! It was cold as not-hell and the wind was blowing to beat the band. I wanted to take a boat cruise to the Neptune Caves but the wind has been blowing so hard that it won’t leave until 15h. I guess I will relive last night’s cab experience because there have been people clustered around the ticket window all day. I think I will mosey on over around 2pm. I leave tomorrow morning so this is my only day to go and I will be on the boat.

Speaking of tomorrow, on to Rome!
